Flamingo Ranch began as a creative outlet for interior designers Steve Somogyi and Filip Malyszko. Principals of steve + filip design, the couple purchased a humble home in the woods, near the beach, ready for an inspired new life. With only three parameters—budget, locally sourced materials, and a desire to reuse whenever possible—the remodel was an opportunity to really cut loose artistically. From graphic hand-painted motifs to repurposed leather-tied railings, every detail expresses warmth, character, ingenuity, and the collective talent of the community. Definitely not your typical vacation rental, Flamingo Ranch is a fantastic base for visual inspiration, inside and out.
Local Tip: With multiple outdoor entertainment areas—cabana bar, twinkle-lit dining area, plunge pool, deck, fire pit, and even a 20’ teepee in the woods—you might be content to spend your whole getaway at the ranch. But you’re in the center of everything here, so make time to explore.
