ALL ABOUT THE WINE
If you believe less is more, Hickory Creek will likely be your favorite stop on the wine trail. The experience here is wonderfully essential. Surrounded by an idyllic landscape with few commercial markers, Hickory Creek’s stately red barn houses an intimate tasting room for education and conversation with its excellent staff. Owner/winemaker Adam McBride is often there himself. Thanks to limited production, small lot fermentation and an unwavering quest to produce classic European-style wines, you’ll discover some of the best vintages the region has to offer at Hickory Creek. Both humble and majestic, this is a great place to reflect on the tradition of winemaking.
Local Tip: Ever fantasized about vineyard life? The winery shares its 38-acre estate with a small Victorian farmhouse available for rent. We can’t think of a more authentic home base for a wine country adventure.
