All the dinners, picnics, tours, & workshops

Granor Farm was founded in 2006 with a simple mission: to teach people where their food comes from by inviting them into the fields and gathering around the table.

In the 20 years since, the certified organic farm evolved into that plus an immersive, farm-to-table dining, distilling, education, and market destination. One that attracts guests and culinary talent from around the country. All on 100 picturesque acres of prime Harbor Country farmland outside Three Oaks, open to everyone to enjoy.

Whether you’re new to the farm or a longtime fan of their celebrated dinners, the land continually provides something new to explore—and taste. And so, we present this comprehensive guide to the nourishing, can’t-miss Granor Farm experience.

Granor Farm Dinners

World-class dining, rooted in place

Equally elegant and down to earth, ticketed dinners on the farm are genuinely warm and wildly delicious. Evenings begin with farm-distilled cocktails and a guided stroll through the fields, connecting the meal you’re about to have with the people and land that provided it. In the modernist greenhouse dining room, light reflects on gem-like glass walls, creating a lovely golden glow. Conversation sparks naturally over long, communal tables and Granor wines and spirits. Then there’s the food: Always farm-grown and locally sourced, beautifully plated, and uncovering new possibilities for fresh, seasonal flavors. Amazingly, menus are never repeated.

For just over a decade, the stunning Taste of Granor multicourse dinners were the main event. But in recent years, chef Alex Skrzypczyk’s lineup has expanded to include nature- and culture-themed dinners, guest grower/producer dinners, and more accessibly priced family-style suppers. Private dining is an option. Chefs can also accommodate nearly any dietary request. Local tip: If you’re planning a visit, check early for the best chance at seats. Tickets are released periodically and often sell out.

Most Thursdays to Saturdays, Jul & Aug. Most Fridays & Saturdays, Sept–Jun.

Distillery Tours & Tastings

Farm-to-bottle spirits and sips

With the 2025 launch of Granor Farm Distillery, farm-to-table became farm-to-bottle, too. Organic heritage grains, botanicals, and berries are the ingredients for decadent estate whiskeys, delicately balanced dry gins, and summery small-batch liqueurs. On weekend distillery tours, head distiller Anna Rafalski walks you through the grain fields and the micro-distillery’s ethos and operation. Sips of spirits and house cocktails are included.

Select Saturdays. Check ahead for upcoming tours.

Classes & Workshops

The DIY way to grow as a chef

James Beard semifinalist Abra Berens, Granor’s longtime culinary director and dining program founder, established Granor’s diverse program of cooking classes and demonstrations during her 10-year-plus tenure at the farm. As Abra launches her own cooking school in Traverse City, she’s proudly passing the workshop reins to a team of talented chefs, bakers, and guest educators. Pasta making, sourdough baking, sausage rolling… the schedule changes month to month, but it’s a consistently deep (and enjoyable) dive into high-quality home cooking. Watch for one-off sessions, ideal for weekend getaways.

Ongoing. Check the Granor site for upcoming classes.

Granor Farm Camp

Where kids connect over food & land

Kids were Granor’s earliest muses. Owners Rob Buono and Liz Cicchelli founded the farm so little ones could get their hands dirty while learning about where their food comes from. (They also named the farm after their own daughters, Grace and Eleanor.) Two decades later, Granor Farm Camp has inspired scores of young growers, ecologists, chefs, and food enthusiasts. Half-day sessions are led by trained educators and cover everything from planting and harvesting vegetables, herbs, and flowers to cooking and baking with veggies. For five to 10-year-olds, it’s a fun introduction to the satisfying life skill of growing and cooking your own food while caring for the slice of earth you inhabit.

Jun–Aug annually. Summer schedules are released each spring. Check the Granor site for details.
