Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival
June 15 | Sawyer, MI
Explore the wine trail without ever leaving the beach at the Lake Michigan AVA’s largest and longest-running wine fest. Live music, food trucks, and select vintages from 18 wineries set beneath the towering dunes of Warren Dunes State Park. $15-35
Father’s Day Festival at Lemon Creek Winery
June 16 | Berrien Springs, MI
Family fun on the grounds of this scenic winery, farm, and vineyard. Kick back with live music, kids games, hayrides, a classic Corvette car show, and (you guessed it) wine tasting. Catered food is available, but picnics are welcome.
Granor Farm Dinners & Brunch

Music in the Park

A perfect, small-town community concert series set in Three Oak’s Dewey Cannon Park. Pack a picnic, or grab a (phenomenally tasty) slice at nearby Patellie’s pizza. The chill, neighborly vibe here is what summer on the lakeshore is all about.

Corsets, Whips and Whiskey

Journeyman Distillery’s annual summer party to celebrate the release of Corsets, Whips and Whiskey, their single-grain, cask-strength, flagship spirit. Live music, cookout, cornhole, and amazing craft cocktails. Compete for prizes on Welter’s Folly, the distillery’s 18-hole putting course.
Second Course Opening Reception at Judith Racht Gallery

New Buffalo Independence Day Celebration

The LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra performs beachside, followed by our annual fireworks extravaganza over Lake Michigan. Take it all in from the comfort of the dunes.
Garlic Fest at The Storehouse
July 13 | Galien, MI
Love of food and music merge at The Storehouse’s incredibly next-level house concert series. Storehouse 010 features Nashville guitarist William Tyler playing songs from his critically acclaimed acoustic album Goes West, a sure stunner set in this idyllic rural landscape. An outdoor event (unless it rains), guests are encouraged to bring their favorite garlic-based potluck dish to celebrate the regional harvest. This is an intimate event with limited tickets. $20
Ship & Shore Festival
August 9–11 | New Buffalo, MI
A weekend-long, family-friendly fest featuring live music, regional beer and wine, local foods, kids activities, and craft vendors. For the first time in its 34-year run, Ship & Shore will be held in our lakefront park, steps from the beach. If Led Zeppelin tribute bands are your jam, don’t miss opening night. $8-10
Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness at Round Barn Winery

Round Barn winery kicks off their Concert in the Vineyard series with Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and special guest The Accidentals. Different from Round Barn’s popular weekend Jammin’ series, Concert in the Vineyard is a ticketed event with lawn, vineyard, premier and VIP seating. $45-$140
String Garden Social: A Morning of Moss & Mimosas at Sojourn

Learn the Japanese art of kokedama, living planters most often displayed suspended or on a dish. The two-hour workshop includes plants, materials, liquid inspo (mimosas!), and instruction led by our favorite plant whisperer, Brynn Hines of Bliss Hill Plant Co. $45
Outsiders Outside Art Fair
August 30–September 1 | Harbert, MI
Celebrating its 24th year, Judith Racht hosts a weekend celebration of visionary, folk, and outsider art on the grounds of her schoolhouse turned gallery. Without a doubt, the most colorful event of the season.
